Welcome to the Dave Long State Farm Agent office in Rensselaer, Indiana! I am proud to serve Rensselaer and the surrounding communities, including Remington, Francesville, Wolcott, Goodland, Morocco, Fair Oaks, and Monon. My office is in Rensselaer, and I was born and raised in Jasper County. Now, I call DeMotte home—just a quick 25-minute drive north. My journey with State Farm began over 31 years ago, and in 2023, I opened my office in Rensselaer. I'm here to help make insurance simple and accessible. I'm passionate about helping my neighbors protect their loved ones and belongings, so I offer various insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, Renters, Motorcycle, and Pet Insurance. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, traveling, and indulging in my love for cars, mechanical projects, and steel fabrication. When I'm not helping customers or doing my hobbies, I cherish time with my wife of over 37 years, Brenda, and our three wonderful grown children—Erin, Jacob, and Katy. I'm a proud graduate of Indiana State University, where I built the foundation for my career and life. As the days grow longer, I'm reminded of how important it is to make the most of each season, both in life and in the work I do for our community.
